Mentorship

Mentorship is the way we are able to show up for others, serve them, and learn collaboratively. It is the ethic of care, stewardship, and empowerment that is foundational in Black feminist praxis. The spaces I cultivate become learning communities for all to be in fellowship with offerings from our unique positions. Mentorship is the mutual exchange of pouring to fill each others' cups, from which our villages may drink, that may then overflow to feed gardens that bloom as a result. The gardens of our ancestors and forefolk sustain us to tell & re-tell our storied lives and write in ways that refute institutional boundaries.
